LS2D
LS2D
LS2D is a tribute to LSD: Dream Emulator and its offspring, Yume Nikki, which attempts to put the surreal, ever-changing gameplay of a dream emulator into the shell of a Metroidvania side-scroller. The game was created in just a few weeks for LSD Jam 2024, but offers countless ever-changing variations of each area to explore.
Directions
The gameplay of a dream emulator is very simple. There is no challenge or set path for you to follow other than exploring the world. Each time you revisit an area, it might be slightly different, and there may be new paths opening up each time you visit. The world changes in the long term just as much as it does in the short term, so you can find new things even after it seems like you've uncovered everything.
Arrow Keys/WASD
Left/Right move your character. Press the Up key to use objects behind you or go through entrances, and Down to move downwards on the stairs.
Spacebar
Jump.
ESC
Close the game. (desktop version only)
Please be aware that this is a tribute project; it is not associated with any of the original developers of LSD: Dream Emulator.
